Call me a serious amateur.  I loved photography as a teenager in the ’70s, but never got beyond B&W.  When digital photography came along, I got hooked again.  Beginning with Canon’s 10D, I’ve had a series of DSLRs and a lot of fun.

Over the years I’ve benefitted from the advice of other photographers, both in person and on the web.  As I’ve improved, I’ve happily found myself giving advice as much as requesting it.  This blog is an attempt to consolidate that advice and experience, and to share it.  Along the way I’ll share some of my tips and techniques, links, and photos.  Comments are welcomed and questions answered to the best of my ability.  Don’t be shy, now …

More relaxed now that I'm an ex-lawyer
